Katie Buckley joined The Lackey Law Firm as a paralegal in 2011 after spending several years with a law firm in Huntsville, Alabama. She brings lots of experience to the firm in the areas of injury law and real estate law. Katie graduated from Scottsboro High School in 2002 and earned her B.A. in Political Science from Auburn University in 2005. In 2016 she was promoted to Office Manager at the firm, where she is now the lead administrative employee, in addition to her ongoing work as a paralegal. Katie’s work is focused on litigation and assisting with the drafting of complex legal documents such as deeds, wills, business formation, and contracts.
Sarah Robinson joined The Lackey Law Firm in 2018 as a personal injury paralegal. She devotes 100% of her time to assisting our clients with car wreck cases and other personal injury cases. She is a graduate of Chattanooga State with an A.S. in Paralegal Studies. Sarah also brings knowledge in the medical field and is a certified nursing assistant. She was previously employed at a law firm in the Chattanooga metro area where she handled paralegal duties on injury cases and general legal work.
Becky Ayers joined The Lackey Law Firm in 2018 as a Legal Assistant. Becky brings almost 20 years of office administration experience to the firm. She previously worked for a law firm handling primarily personal injury cases and has 10 years of experience in the legal field. She is skilled in drafting legal documents and Becky has extensive knowledge in managing an office and assisting clients with their legal needs.
Nazaret Lara joined The Lackey Law Firm team in 2017 as a legal assistant. She is a graduate of Scottsboro High School and Northeast Alabama Community College and is a skilled translator. She is currently a student at Athens State University where she will obtain an education degree and she plans to enter the teaching field. Living in Huntsville allows Nazaret to work with the firm’s Huntsville office while continuing to pursue her education.
Jazmin Ortega joined The Lackey Law Firm in 2015 as a legal assistant and translator. She excelled in assisting the attorneys with translation for Spanish-speaking clients and in drafting of legal documents. Jazmin is a graduate of Scottsboro High School and Northeast Alabama Community College. She currently attends Jacksonville State University where she will obtain her degree and plans to enter the field of law enforcement. She continues her work for the firm on a part-time basis while pursuing her education.
