Justin Lackey
Justin graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2009 and graduated magna cum laude with his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Alabama in 2006. He has been practicing law since 2009 at The Lackey Law Firm. Justin focuses his practice on Injury Law, Car Wrecks, Criminal Defense, DUI and Traffic, and Civil Litigation. In his years of practice, Justin has helped his clients recover millions of dollars for their injuries.
Justin grew up in North Alabama and graduated from Scottsboro High School in 2003. He has two sisters. Justin is married to his wife, Lauren, and together they have twins, Isaac and Emma.
He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Jackson County Bama Club as well as Vice President of the Club, and a member of the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. He is the past president of the Jackson County Bama Club and is also a past member of the Board of Directors of the Mountain Lakes Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Cahaba Shrine in Huntsville and Scottsboro Masonic Lodge. He and his wife attend the Goosepond Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
As a student at the UA School of Law, Justin participated in Trial Advocacy for Criminal Litigation and the Criminal Defense Clinic. He received an Excellence for the Future Award in the Criminal Defense Clinic. Justin is rated AV- Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell for the highest level of professional excellence.
